Job Overview

• We are looking for a skilled Phlebotomist to assist in the collection of blood samples for laboratory testing and diagnostics. As a Phlebotomist at House of Diagnostics, you will play a crucial role in helping us deliver accurate and timely diagnostics to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to draw blood samples in a safe and hygienic manner, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and skin punctures to collect blood samples.
• Ensure the proper labeling and handling of collected samples.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Record patient information and sample details accurately in the system.
• Collaborate with medical and laboratory staff to expedite efficient processing and analysis of samples.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient concerns and questions promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in phlebotomy or medical technology is a plus.
• Professional certification in Phlebotomy (e.g., NCPT, CPT) is preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a medical laboratory or hospital setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols rigorously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
